MSc - Clinical Psychology
She firmly believes that people already have an idea of what the best version of themselves would look like. At times, life comes in the way, and so they need to be reminded of what they already know, or need a bit of help in turning the ‘knowing’ into ‘doing’. This is where She comes in. She is a clinical psychologist with M.Phil from Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi. She has worked with clients with emotional disturbances, behavioral difficulties and interpersonal issues in the past. She use an eclectic approach, and so, draw from multiple approaches to make a treatment plan that best suits my clients. In this attempt, She rely on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She also strongly believes that therapy is not just for those who are struggling but also for those who want to know more about themselves or lead a more fulfilling life.

I think she listens really well and manages to assimilate whatever is shared into a meaningful point, which helps me identify patterns of mine very easily. Talking to her has made me take my own experience more seriously, in the sense that I can see that there are real things that I want to work on as opposed to some confused made up feelings. She speaks in a very calming manner and allows me to go through my thoughts at my own speed and comfort.
I have been consulting Mahati for about a year and she's been nothing but kind. Sessions with her feel like walking into a safe space where I am not judged for my thoughts. She has helped me feel less anxious with every session which has also helped me understand myself better. I would want to recommend her to as many people as possible so that their lives and mental health could be improved!
She has been insightful and understanding. She helped me navigate my feelings to understand the 'big why's'. I've had only two sessions but it has made me feel heard and understood. I'm working on myself and she is helping me get there.
I've had a good experience so far with the sessions bring very insightful. I feel like I have the space to talk myself through to understanding myself better.
